Up North

Okay, so I think I am finally caught up on posts! Phew! It's been a while since I've uploaded anything. So these 2 photos are from Makayla's first trip up north to the Evers' Family cabin! Makayla is playing with her cousin, Addision, and Chad is skiing for the first time this summer!

Visiting with Friends

Makayla's friend Ella came over on Friday and they had fun playing together!

Visiting with Nana

Nana came over to visit Makayla last weekend!

New Carseat

Makayla transitioned to her new carseat recently and she decided that she does not like the headrest! After she protested (see below) we decided to remove the headrest!

Trip to Michigan

We took a trip to Michigan over Memorial Weekend. Makayla got to visit her Grandma, Grandpa, Great Grandma, Great Grandpa, Uncle Pat, and some Great Aunts on the Sandoval side of the family.

Catching up on the News...

Makayla likes to help us read the Sunday paper!

Trying New Foods!

Makayla is a very good eater! Here she is trying some various foods...bananas, mac-n-cheese, and chocolate chip cookies! There are very few foods that she doesn't like! As long as she can pick it up and feed herself, she seems to like it!

Look what I can do!

Makayla learned to pull herself up to standing shortly after sAdd Imagehe learned to crawl. Now she's a pro at pulling herself up to standing on just about anything..the couch, the bathtub, a chair, Mom's leg! Makayla will also walk along something like the couch or coffee table. And she will transfer between objects as long as she can reach the 2nd object while still holding onto the first! If we hold her hands, she just started taking a few steps. But she doesn't have enough balance to take any steps on her own yet.

Trip to Minnesota

Back in April we took a fabulous trip to Minnesota to visit Jeanne, Josh, Natalie, and Michael. Makayla had fun playing with Natalie. Makayla was also exhausted after a fun trip to the Zoo. She kicked back in her stroller for a little rest!
