We celebrated Christmas day with our immediate family at our house. Below is the tree with all the presents, then the stockings, and then the kids on Christmas morning.
Here's Logan with his car ramp and Lydia and Makayla trying on their Elsa gloves.
This Baby Alive doll was probably Lydia's favorite gift. She's been asking for one for a long time!
Makayla was pretty excited with her 18 inch doll!
Both girls, but especially Makayla, have wanted these horse toys for a long time. I finally bought them, although the girls might already be a little too old for them. They did have fun opening them and playing with them for a while.
The kids had some snacks, including chips, in their stockings. Logan wasted no time getting upstairs to eat his chips!
Lydia was surprised when she opened her gift from Makayla...a Doc McStuffins washcloth. We were shopping at the dollar store and Lydia noticed it in the bin (it was the last one of that character), but then Makayla grabbed it quickly and put it in her basket to buy for Lydia. Lydia kept searching the bin trying to find it, but finally gave up, although she insisted she had seen a Doc McStuffins one. So she had a big smile when she realized Makayla had bought it!
These suitcases were a big hit with the girls! I love the expressions on their faces!
Dressed for church. Logan didn't actually wear the vest and tie to church....the pants and dress shirt were tough enough to get him to wear. I bribed him with mint chocolate when we got home so that he'd wear the vest/tie long enough for some photos! He loves the Hershey kisses mint chocolate kisses!
Our cake for baby Jesus' birthday!
Nana and Papa came over for supper and for the evening.
