Play Date

Makayla had her friend Ella over to play this week! Ella is 8 days older than Makayla! They had fun playing together while their Moms had fun chatting!

Okay, so maybe she didn't eat Wheaties, but she did eat some rice cereal! It must have made her strong, because she pulled her little elephant hanging toy right off the velcro string and decided to chew on it! She used to just swat at the elephants, but I guess that's not fun anymore...

Makayla's hair is getting so long! If it didn't curl so much, her bangs would be in her eyes! Mom had a little fun with her hair clips today!

Santa Drives a Big Brown Truck?

Santa arrived today driving a big brown truck! I've been doing a lot of on-line Christmas shopping and I've gotten 1 or more packages every day this week! (I even got a package in yesterday's snow storm!) However, today was my lucky day! These boxes ALL arrived on the porch today! Now I'm going to have to order some wrapping paper...

Surprise Sunset

On Wednesday we had a large snowstorm. It snowed from about 3am until 3pm. Then the sun came out just long enough to have a beautiful sunset!

Makayla is getting more coordinated. Although it sometimes takes several tries, she can get things up to her mouth now! This is the chair that we have her sit in while we eat dinner! Right now she doesn't get any food, but very soon we'll start giving her some cereal. In the meantime, she eats her toys while we eat our dinner!
