Jumping Beans

Makayla must have ate some jumping beans! She was having a blast in her jumperoo!! She had jumped quite a bit before we grabbed the camera and by the time we recorded her, she was starting to get tired. But we still got a pretty good video!

Yum, yum!

Makayla has a blast eating her Zwieback toast. She also likes the Gerber Puffs, but she's not very good at getting them from the tray into her mouth.

Visiting with Grandma

Makayla had fun visiting with Grandma last weekend! We had a fun 4-day weekend with Grandma!

I love socks!

Makayla has learned to pull off her socks and she loves chewing on her toes! She also loves to chew on her socks...it doesn't matter if they are on or off her feet!

Rolling

Makayla is perfecting her rolling skills. Anytime we put her on her belly, she immediately rolls to her back. She can go either direction. Since she doesn't really like being on her belly, she has not learned to roll from her back to her belly.

Sitting Around

Makayla is getting very good at sitting. She can sit on her own, although we still put pillows or the boppy around her most of the time. She loves to sit on the floor and have a pile of toys around her.

Cabin Fever

Makayla and Mom decided to get out of the house today and go for a walk! The sun is shining and it's 45 degrees outside! What a heatwave! After a little protesting from Makayla, she was bundled up and ready to go. She had her snowsuit and hat and 2 blankets wrapped around her in the stroller! But it was great to get outside! The fresh air made Makayla sleepy, so she snoozed for most of the 45 minute walk! We got back, and Makayla kept snoozing in the stroller while Mom chopped away at the ice at the end of the driveway! 30 minutes later, Makayla was still sleeping, so I brought her inside and started to unbundle her. She just looked and me and turned her head away and went back to sleep! She must be exhausted from all that work! :) Here's a photo of her after she decided she was going to go back to sleep! She normally takes 30 minute catnaps, so this is very unusual for her. I just left her partially bundled up and decided to let her snooze....

Makayla Wrestles a Yellow Elephant!
