Happy Halloween

The girls had a blast trick-or-treating.  Makayla understood the process of ringing the doorbell, saying "trick-or-treat" and then saying "thank you!"  Lydia tried to say "trick-or-treat" and it was very cute.  Both enjoyed scarfing down their candy as I pulled them from house to house in the wagon!  At one house, Lydia had an open sucker in one hand, an open bag of M&M's in her other had, and a half-eaten Tootsie Roll hanging out of her mouth...hopefully the woman at that house didn't think I was a crazy parent!  LOL!  Other than eating a ton of candy that night, the girls have pretty much forgotten about their stash of candy.  Unfortunately, I know exactly where it is!  The candy is going to have to disappear soon!

Here's Makayla in her butterfly costume!

Lydia didn't want to wear her costume, so this was her "costume" for trick-or-treating!  :)

I got Lydia into part of her costume for about 30 seconds...just long enough to snap a few photos!  She's missing the absolutely adorable red and black striped tights and the red shirt, but at least I was able to get her to wear this much!  To see what the costume "should" look like, click here!

Here's Makayla running to get into the photo while Lydia is wearing her costume!

Happy Halloween from our Butterfly and Ladybug!  :)
