Visiting with the Sandoval's

My parents and my brother, Jeff, and sister-in-law, Monica, came to visit the weekend before Easter.  We had fun hanging out.  We also celebrated Easter early so that they could enjoy watching the girls open their Easter baskets!

Here are Jeff, Monica, and the girls playing outside.  Notice that Makayla is in shorts!  She insisted on wearing them and I decided it wasn't worth the fight!  She was pretty cold when she came in!

The middle 2 baskets are the baskets that I put out while the girls were napping.  I told them that the Easter Bunny stopped by while they were napping.  He dropped off the baskets and he hid some eggs around the house!  The girls also got baskets Friday night from Uncle Jeff and Auntie Monica with some fun toys and a chocolate bunny!  How fun!!  :)

Here are the girls checking out their baskets after nap!

Fun opening baskets!

Woohoo!  Bubbles!!

Lydia was much more interested in the chocolate than anything else...

Watching the little capsule in the glass as it expands into a spongy bug!

Me, my brother Jeff, sister-in-law Monica, Makayla and Lydia!

Trying out the new bubble wands!

More bubbles!

Fun with new underwear, shovels, a toy fishing pole, and the Easter grass!  ;)

Makayla was very curious what the Easter Bunny looked like.  She asked me what color he was and I told her white.  I said he didn't stay long because he had lots of baskets to drop off and that he hopped away as soon as he dropped off the baskets.  This seemed to answer her questions.
My mom and I were at the mall with the girls the next day and she noticed that the Easter Bunny was at the mall.  So we decided to walk down and visit him!  Lydia wanted nothing to do with the Bunny.  Makayla did a "walk by" about 3 times before she went up and gave the Bunny "five".  That was about as close as she would go!  On the way home, she asked me what color clothes the Bunny was wearing when he dropped off their Easter baskets the day before...hmmm...she was thinking!  I told her that I thought he had the same ones on as today!  It's a good thing that the bunny at the mall was also white, since I told her that's what color he was the day before!  Phew!!
