Look who's 4!

Here's Makayla opening a few cards and gifts that arrived in the mail!  She was SO excited for her birthday! She's been waiting ever since Lydia had her birthday in March!

Makayla wanted a princess themed birthday party!  So in addition to all the princess tableware and decorations (which I forgot to take a photo of), I found some creative ideas on pinterest!  I made everything except for the cake.  I had several late nights and lots of help from Chad to get it all ready, but Makayla loved it!  She saw everything and said, "Wow, thanks Mom!"

Makayla's new bike was certainly a hit!  She loves it and how fast it goes!  When we go for bike rides she will pedal as fast as she can until she's tired, then she'll stop and rest her legs, then she'll speed off again!  She loves going for family bike rides around the neighborhood.  Lydia loves bike rides too because she gets to ride in the bike trailer that is attached to Chad's bike!
