Happy Halloween

Here's a whole bunch of Halloween Photos!  Enjoy!

Makayla came home from school one day and told me that her teacher told her the inside of a pumpkin is slimy!  So, of course, this got her interested in carving the pumpkin that we grew in our garden!

Our finished pumpkin!

Lydia the butterfly!

Makayla the elephant (it's a bit big, but kept her warm!)

Lydia didn't find photos quite as exciting as Makayla did...

Here's the costume Makayla wore to the Zoo Boo and it was supposed to be for school...but the teacher sent a note home asking for the kids to NOT wear costumes....

So, Makayla wore this cute Halloween shirt to school instead!  And it's the first time she's ever worn pants to school!  Every other day has been dresses or skirts!  She always wants to "look nice" for school!  Not sure where she gets this trait from because Chad and I certainly aren't picky about dressing up to go places!

Our fun before trick-or-treating!  Mini pizzas with jack-o-lantern faces!

Cutting the pepperoni for the jack-o-lanterns!

The finished pizzas!

We made "witches brew" to drink!  The girls got to pick their color!

We made some Halloween slime!  Lydia was NOT interested in putting her hands in this slime!

Lydia, my chocoholic, ate all the chocolate off this Butterfinger and left the crunchy middle behind!  Mmmm...the best part!

Our pumpkins on the porch!

Makayla the elephant!

Trick-or-treating!
