June

June was a busy month in the Evers' Household!  The girls wrapped up school the first week of June and then the second week of June was Makayla's big dance rehearsal and performance.  We also started our summer YMCA classes the second week of June.  The girls took swimming twice a week and also a fairy tale class that included them bringing a brown bag lunch.  The 2 hour fairy tale class was my break from the girls each week and usually involved me making a mad dash to the grocery store and back home to drop off groceries before I had to pick them up again!  I also tried to grab something yummy for lunch along the way.  Makayla also played soccer on Tuesday nights and Chad was the assistant coach.

We also got outside a lot to enjoy the weather...once it finally warmed up.  We ended up the month with a trip to MN to visit my brother Jeff, sister-in-law, Monica, and our niece, Liviana.

Logan is such a laid back baby and was very portable all summer.  He just snoozed in the car and enjoyed all of the activities the girls were doing!  He never wants to miss anything, so he's not much of a napper!  Hopefully in the fall I can get him on a better routine with a more consistent nap time.  The good news is he sleeps well at night!  Phew!

Happy Father's Day!

Lydia's FAVORITE dress...we are retiring it now that winter and spring are over...

The girls spent hours over the course of a few days moving these people on and off the "stage" and making them do various dances!  This was some great creative play after Makayla's dance performance!
